Your details used to register for the event are not disclosed to any third-parties (e.g. sponsors, statistics companies, etc.) without your knowledge.

We ask you to register yourselves directly on the platforms we are using for the conference.

The personal details that you provide to Security BSides Bratislava (which may include name, email) are only used: • to register you for the event, and • to keep you informed.

Your personal details are stored on specific cloud-based platforms that enable Security BSides Bratislava to communicate and conduct the event.

Personal details are not disclosed for any other purpose unless required by law.

If you do not wish to provide us with your personal details for this purpose, then do NOT proceed any further.

If you are aged 18 or under, please get your parent/guardian’s permission before you provide any personal information to Security BSides Bratislava. Users without this consent are not allowed to provide us with personal information.

Event Photos and Recordings

By attending this event you consent to photography and video recording and their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction. Images, photos and/or videos may be used to promote events in the future.

You release the Security BSides Bratislava event, its organizers, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitising, or publication and use of any photographs, videos, and/or sound recordings.

By entering the event premises you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, webcasting, televising or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsor of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, webcasting or other publication, irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged.

You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by Security BSides Bratislava or the staff designated to do so by Security BSides Bratislava and its organizers.

You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability, and release before entering the event.

Offensive or Inappropriate Content

If you post or send offensive, inappropriate, or objectionable content anywhere on our Security BSides Bratislava spaces (including but not limited to events, websites, social media accounts, etc.) or otherwise engage in any disruptive behaviour on any Security BSides Bratislava services, Security BSides Bratislava may use your personal information to stop such behaviour.

Where Security BSides Bratislava reasonably believes that you are or may be in breach of any applicable laws (for example, because content you have posted may be defamatory), Security BSides Bratislava may use your personal information to inform relevant third-parties such as law enforcement about the content and your behaviour.

Right to Be Forgotten

You may request removal of your personal data.
